Baby Henry!!

We are absolutly smitten with the newest addition to Werakata Farm!! Henry Ron Barnett was born on the 20th of July at 8:41am. Dad (Andrew’s) specialities now include eventing, dressage and pram pushing. This enables Mum (Tarsha) to have time to focus on the new and time consuming job of being a new Mum!

State Show-jumping Championships 2011

Andrew and I went to Gundagai for the long weekend!  We took the horses of course and Andrew was loving his favourite girl “Annie” aka “Yalambi Ultima V” who placed 3rd in the 1.30 and 4th in the 1.25.  Owned by the Avery family she is truly a fabulous mare.  Andrew’s own Dexter was batting the rain away…

Equestriad August 2011.

The committe did a great job running this event.  So many entries, so few problems. We managed to drag Andrew along again with the carrot being a Pre-Novice start.  Bradgate Park Aarmani is so bold he could cart your grandma around although she’s have sore arms at the finish pegs.  He is jumping 1.10m showjuming…

Crackberry Over the Drop, Canberra

Canberra flyer. Oh what a feeling.

Crackberry Over the Drop, Canberra. Main Event Photography 2* at Canberra 2008.  We had a horror dressage as I stupidly forgot that I hadn’t worn Coat tails on Willy before.  There was no way he was going to settle with them flapping around.  Even the dustbowl of the warm up arena couldn’t hide us when…

Fuzzy Logic, Adelaide 2001****.

Fuzzy Logic, Adelaide This was Adelaide 2001 in the 4*. This is my favourite photo of Fred doing dressage as it’s the end of the test! He actually did a cracker for him and we ended up 5th at the end of the event. Especially good as it was a selection event and we were…

SIEC ODE

I was really keen to get back out eventing again after such a long siesta. Rio also found it quite exciting and probably needed some of Dave Cameron’s famous stunt riding to make the dressage more appealing. We were rusty as anything and glad to have another run on the weekend.

Jumping Hero at Werakata

Hero Jumping I am behind the lens for this photo which is one of my favourites, thanks to continuous shoot and Hero’s excellent technique.  This was a little gun of a horse that Andrew sold on.  He likes to ride bigger horses so he can “eat cake”.

Crackberry Out of the Water Jump, Berrima

Crackberry, Berrima 2010

Crackberry Out of the Water Jump, Berrima. Equiscape Photography Berrima ODE, November 2010.  Willy and I had a run around the Pre-Novice just to finish the year off.  The pnumonia he had at the beginning of the year didn’t affect him at all but I obviously need a lesson from Lissa for the dressage.  She rode him…
